We found the residential all set up and the kitchen in action...
Just amazing weather on the first day, almost believed there was a summer in England...
Huge thank you to these two lovely people, who took charge of the kitchen (with the help of the student groups when they let them...)
What an amazing place to be, far away for all of us
and this is only some of us...

A bit early for everyone else...
The maps in our project handbooks in action...
This wall is for sheep
The sun was out, and the colour was OK up to here...
Then my camera decided to turn everything blue
(I know you promised to photoshop the colour back... later...)
My phone managed these ones...
Great presentations by the British students - Palestinian students described them as 'important'
Students talked about the place: the wide open spaces of Lancashire are not more beautiful than the hills and fields of Palestine... but those have been expropriated, fenced-off, built on with settlements.
One student said: 'I can get from my home to Manchester.... But Jerusalem, though I can see it from Abu Dis... I can't get there'
(presentations by Palestinian students... tomorrow)
Thinking about student twinning and planning for action
(watch this space).
