"Yesterday we were at UCL University at 1pm where
we met Mohammed Fahed and he took us for a small tour in the university. Then we
had our lunch with students from that college and he asked us to tell them
about CADFA and its activities and its main objectives and what the situation
in Palestine is like and about the students’ lives and about
their suffering.
After that we had some coffee with some students
while we were waiting for the other groups to come. The boys went with Mohammed to play a football match
at his university, and the girls stayed at UCL to give another presentation
about the problems we face in Palestine in our daily life. Majd talked about
AlQuds-University, and how the Israeli soldiers attack it whenever they want
to. Majd and Razan talked about the same
subject, and me and Marah talked about the checkpoints they suffer from when they
go to their college".
"One of the students told about how she had to pass two check points to go to her university, and because of that she moved to the city where the university was. Because of the checkpoints she was not able to visit her family for one to two months. It shocked me how the occupation is affecting every decision, from the big ones to all the little ones, every action, every part of the students’ daily lives".
